Untangling the Timetable

Patcham Water Survival Group (PWSG) is a community swimming school in Brighton, teaching essential water safety and swimming skills to local children and adults. With multiple classes, timetables, and age groups to communicate, their existing website had become a barrier rather than a help.

The Problem

  • Information overload, no clear path — class details, timetables, and contact information were all there, but visitors struggled to find what was relevant to them

  • Outdated design — the site didn't reflect the professionalism of the classes being run

  • Risk of lost enquiries — if a parent can't quickly find the right class for their child's age and ability, they're likely to give up rather than ask

What we did

We rebuilt the site around clarity rather than just content. Classes, timetables, and age groups were restructured so visitors could find their way to the right information in a few clicks rather than hunting through pages of text. The new design gives PWSG a clean, professional look that matches the quality of what they teach, while keeping all the practical information — contact details, schedules, class info — easy to find and easy for the club to update themselves.

The Result

PWSG now has a website that does the job of guiding people to the right class rather than getting in their way. As the client put it in their review:

"Simon has been such a great help with building my website — it looks amazing! He was always quick to respond and made the whole process so much easier. Thank you so much!"
