Web Design in Surrey: High-End B2B Experience for Autoculture 🚜
The Client
Autoculture is a specialist supplier of high-end garden machinery and professional-grade ride-on toys, primarily serving the B2B market and leisure industry from their base in Surrey. As a business built on long-term relationships and high-quality equipment, they reached out to us to modernise their digital presence and align it with their reputation for premium service.
The Challenge
WordPress Overload: Their previous site was outdated and lacked clarity, making it difficult for professional clients to navigate their specialist product ranges.
B2B Focus vs. B2C Appeal: While they serve both markets, the new site needed to lean heavily into their B2B identity, catering to contractors and leisure clients who require technical reliability.
The "Anonymous" Competitor: Many competitors have moved to automated, faceless systems. Autoculture’s main USP is their human-first customer service—they are always available on the phone and pride themselves on traditional service values.
Complex Product UX: Showcasing a vast range of machinery and go-karts without overwhelming the user required a strategic approach to page layout and navigation.
The Solution 🦍💻
We built a bespoke Squarespace platform that serves as a high-end digital showroom, engineered to balance visual "wow factor" with professional clarity.
1. Intuitive UX with Anchor Links & Sticky Blocks
For the go-kart and machinery pages, we needed to feature an extensive library of product images and specs without creating a confusing, endless scroll. We implemented intuitive anchor links and sticky blocks to allow users to jump between categories effortlessly while keeping key information and enquiry calls-to-action always in view.
2. High-End Visual Identity
Using custom CSS, we moved away from standard "out-of-the-box" layouts to create a polished, expensive feel. We focused on a sleek, industrial-meets-professional aesthetic that resonates with their trade and leisure industry clientele.
3. Emphasising the "Human" Element
We made sure their commitment to customer service was front and centre. Unlike anonymous e-commerce platforms, the site makes it easy for clients to pick up the phone and speak to an expert, preserving the service values that have made the business a success.
4. Technical Autonomy
By hosting the platform on Squarespace, we ensured the Autoculture team could update their machinery inventory in real-time. The move away from WordPress removed the technical burden of maintenance, allowing the team to focus on sales and service rather than website troubleshooting.
Strategic Web Design for Surrey & Sussex Businesses 📍🌳
This project illustrates our ability to handle complex B2B requirements within the Surrey and Sussex markets. By combining modern UX techniques like sticky navigation with a deep understanding of the client's service-led values, we’ve given Autoculture a tool that attracts higher-value contracts while keeping their brand identity intact.
The Result
Autoculture now has a digital platform that matches the premium quality of the machinery they supply. The site functions as a powerful B2B lead-generation tool, providing the professional credibility needed to dominate their niche in the South East.
